European Union (EU)* : Exemptions from the extended anti-dumping duty on certain bicycle parts originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 837/2011 of 23 December 2011, the European Commission (the Commission) has published an implementing decision concerning exemptions from the extended anti-dumping duty on certain bicycle parts originating in the Mainland of China. The decision can be accessed through the following link:

2.Interested parties may refer to the respective tables of the decision which set out the parties exempted, party for which the suspension of payment of the extended anti-dumping duty has been lifted, exempted party for which the reference will be updated, and the parties which are still under examination.

BACKGROUND

3.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain bicycle parts has been imposed by extension since 19 January 1997 and the duty in force is 48.5% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty.
