European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted seven Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of liquid products consisting of silane, MDP phosphate monomer,dimethacrylate resins, 2-hydroxyethyl-methacrylate, copolymer, filler, ethanol, water and initiators intended for dental use; products consisting of glutinous and sticky translucent white pieces with gel-like consistency and appearance of glass noodles; motor vehicles of the pick-up type; turbine wheels of a nickel-based alloy and turbine housings of base metal; printed circuit assembly for reproducing images and sound from USB memory; LED modules , semiconductor components comprising LED module mounted by soldering on metal-core printed circuit board, LED packages and LED arrays used in illumination applications such as mobile phone flash, automotive lighting, projectors, traffic signals and household appliances; as well as balloon catheters, guide catheters, guide wires and hand-operated inflation devices used in medical environment for the inflation and deflation of balloon catheters to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
