DETAILS

2.The Directive shall apply to electrical equipment designed for use with a voltage rating between 50 and 1000 V for alternating current, and between 75 and 1500 V for direct current, other than those listed in Annex II of the Directive.

3.According to the Directive, EU Member States should take appropriate measures to ensure that the electrical equipment may be made available on the market only if it has been constructed in accordance with good engineering practice in safety matters in force in the Union.
