European Union (EU)* : Corrigendum to the Commission Implementing Decision of Confirming the Acceptance of an Undertaking Offered in connection with the Anti-dumping and Countervailing Proceedings on Imports of Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Key Components (i.e. Cells) Originating in or Consigned from the Mainland of China for the Period of Definitive Measures
Further to the Commercial Information Circulars Nos. 970/2013 and 971/2013 of 5 December 2013, a corrigendum to the Commission Implementing Decision 2013/707/EU of 4 December 2013 confirming the acceptance of an undertaking offered in connection with the anti-dumping and countervailing proceedings concerning imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and key components (i.e. cells) originating in or consigned from the Mainland of China for the period of definitive measures has been published. BACKGROUND
2.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules and key components (i.e. cells) originating in or consigned from the Mainland of China has been imposed since 6 December 2013. The current duty in force is 53.4% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies whose individual duty rates range from 27.3% to 64.9%). Apart from the definitive anti-dumping duty, the Council has also imposed a definitive countervailing duty on imports of the concerned products with effect from 6 December 2013.
