Commercial Information Circular No. 130/2014

European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted five Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors with touch screens; LCD monitors for use in information display applications; high speed cameras; LCD monitors for use in medical systems; as well as electric control apparatuses incorporating automatic data processing (ADP) machines to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
