European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Certain PSC Wires and Strands Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circulars Nos. 246/2009 of 13 May 2009 and 867/2012 of 26 October 2012, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain PSC wires and strands originating in the Mainland of China. The notice can be accessed through the following link:

DETAILS

2.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain PSC wires and strands originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 14 May 2009. The rate of duty is 46.2% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for two companies whose individual duty rates are 0% and 31.1% respectively). Consequent to a partial interim review initiated in 2011, the scope of the products subject to the concerned anti-dumping duty has been clarified and amended with effect from 27 October 2012. For further information about the result of the partial interim review, please refer to the Commercial Information Circular No. 867/2012 of 26 October 2012.

3.Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at mid-night of 14 May 2014.
