European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted seven Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of body composition analysers; colour liquid crystal display (LCD) modules designed for incorporation into a dashboard of a motor vehicle for displaying video signals; LCD modules designed for incorporation in different electrical products; plastic floor coverings for making decks and walkways; insulating fittings of plastics; metal boxes designed to be used as packages for wine bottles; and plastic tubes to be used by medical professionals for insertion into the human body to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
