Commercial Information Circular No. 932/2012

European Union (EU)* : List of Nutrition Claims made on Foods

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 96/2010 of 4 March 2010, the European Commission (the Commission) has adopted a Regulation to add new nutrition claims to the permitted list as well as to modify the conditions of use of the claims already permitted under Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006. Products which do not comply with the requirements as set out in the amended Regulation but if placed on the market prior to 1 June 2014 can be marketed until the stocks are exhausted.
