Commercial Information Circular No. 920/2012

European Union (EU)* : Imposition of a Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Aluminium Radiators Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 344/2012 of 11 May 2012, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of aluminium radiators originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS

2.Salient points are set out below -

(a) Product : Aluminium radiators and elements or sections of which such radiator is composed, whether or not such elements are assembled in blocks, excluding radiators and elements and sections thereof of the electrical type, currently falling within CN codes ex 7615 10 10, ex 7615 10 90, ex 7616 99 10 and ex 7616 99 90 (TARIC codes 7615 10 10 10, 7615 10 90 10, 7616 99 10 91, 7616 99 90 01 and 7616 99 90 91).
(b) Rate of Duty : 61.4% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies whose individual duty rates range from 12.6% to 56.2%).
(c) Effective Date : 10 November 2012
(d) Duration : 5 years
(e) Collection of
Duty
: The amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 402/2012 shall be definitively collected. The amounts secured in excess of the amount of the definitive rates of the anti-dumping duty shall be released.
