Amendment to the Decision Accepting the Undertakings Offered in Connection with the Anti-dumping Proceeding on Imports of Citric Acid Originating in the Mainland of China

 

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 604/2008 of 3 December 2008, the European Commission has promulgated a decision to amend an original decision by the then Commission of the European Communities accepting the undertakings offered in connection with the anti-dumping proceeding on imports of citric acid originating in the Mainland of China to the effect that, inter alia, the acceptance of the undertaking in relation to one company is withdrawn with effective from 9 September 2012. BACKGROUND

2. Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of citric acid originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 4 December 2008. The current duty in force is 42.7% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for eight companies whose individual duty rates range from 6.6% and to 42.7%).
