Commercial Information Circular No. 596/2012
European Union (EU)* : Exports and Imports of Dangerous Chemicals

Further to Commercial Information Circular No 83/2012 dated 2 February 2012, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU have adopted a Regulation concerning exports and imports of dangerous chemicals. DETAILS

2. Regulation (EC) No 689/2008 concerning the export and import of dangerous chemicals has been substantially amended several times. For reasons of clarity and consistency with other relevant Union legislation, the Regulation (EC) No 689/2008 should be recast and repealed by the new Regulation which shall be applied from 1 March 2014.
