Commercial Information Circular No. 526/2011

European Union (EU)* : Public Consultation on the Proposals for Identification of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) to be Placed on the Candidate List under REACH

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 356/2011 of 22 June 2011, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is now conducting a public consultation on the proposals for identifying twenty chemicals as SVHC to be placed on the candidate list under REACH. The list of proposed substances and the details of the consultation are stated in the press release ECHA/PR/11/20 issued by the ECHA and the relevant consultation webpage, which can be accessed through the following links respectively:

2. All interested parties are invited to submit scientific comments and information on these twenty substances proposed to be placed on the candidate list of SVHC. The deadline for the public consultation is 13 October 2011. Comments and information can be submitted through the above webpage.
