Commercial Information Circular No. 94/2010

European Union (EU)* : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission (the Commission) has adopted four Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN). The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of certain food supplement tablets, machinery for filtering or purifying air, lighting set for Christmas trees, and children's picture books to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.
