European Union (EU)* : Imposition of a Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Sodium Gluconate Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 191/2010 of 4 May 2010, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium gluconate originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS
- Salient points are set out below -
(a) Product | : | Dry sodium gluconate, with a Customs Union and Statistics (CUS) number 0023277-9 and a Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) registry number 527-07-1, currently falling within CN code ex 2918 16 00 (TARIC code 2918 16 00 10). |
(b) Rate of Duty | : | 53.2% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty (except for two companies whose individual duty rates are respectively 5.6% and 27.1%). |
(c) Effective Date | : | 29 October 2010 |
(d) Duration | : | 5 years |
(e) Collection of Duty | : | Amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of the product concerned since 5 May 2010 shall be definitively collected. The amounts secured in excess of the amount of the definitive anti-dumping duties shall be released. |
