European Union (EU)*: Imposition of a Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Certain Aluminium Road Wheels Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 205/2010 of 12 May 2010, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain aluminium road wheels originating in the Mainland of China. Salient points are set out below –
(a) Product | : | Aluminium road wheels of the motor vehicles of CN headings 8701 to 8705, whether or not with their accessories and whether or not fitted with tyres, currently falling within CN codes ex 8708 70 10 and ex 8708 70 50 (TARIC codes 8708 70 10 10 and 8708 70 50 10). |
(b) Rate of Duty | : | 22.3% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty. |
(c) Effective Date | : | 29 October 2010 |
(d) Duration | : | 5 years |
(e) Collection of Duty | : | Amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of the product concerned since 12 May 2010 shall be definitively collected. |
