European Union (EU)* : Imposition of a Definitive Anti-dumping Duty on Imports of Certain Molybdenum Wires Originating in the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 637/2009 of 18 December 2009, the Council of the EU has published a regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain molybdenum wires originating in the Mainland of China. Salient points are set out below –
(a) Product | : | Molybdenum wire, containing by weight at least 99.95 % of molybdenum, of which the maximum cross-sectional dimension exceeds 1.35 mm but does not exceed 4.0 mm, currently falling within CN code ex 8102 96 00 (TARIC code 8102 96 00 10). |
(b) Rate of Duty | : | 64.3% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty. |
(c) Effective Date | : | 17 June 2010 |
(d) Duration | : | 5 years |
(e) Collection of Duty | : | Amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of the product concerned since 19 December 2009 shall be definitively collected. |
