Commercial Information Circular No. 219/2010

European Union (EU)*: Ecodesign Requirements for Fluorescent Lamps, High Intensity Discharge Lamps, Ballasts and Luminaries

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 163/2009 of 30 March 2009, the European Commission (the Commission) has adopted a Regulation revising the eco-design requirements for fluorescent lamps without integrated ballast, high intensity discharge lamps, ballasts and luminaries able to operate the lamps, in order to improve coherence on product information requirements, and to avoid unintended impacts on the availability and performance of the products covered by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 245/2009.
