European Union (EU)*: Amendment to the Directive on Plastic Materials and Articles Intended to Come into Contact with Foodstuffs

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 532/2009 of 23 October 2009, the European Commission (the Commission) has adopted a Decision removing 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenyl ether from the provisional list of additives of Directive 2002/72/EC relating to plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
