Commercial Information Circular No. 211/2010

European Union (EU)*: Information on the uses and release of two Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) on the Candidate List under REACH

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 174/2010 of 23 April 2010, the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is inviting interested parties to provide up-to-date information on the uses and release of two substances of SVHC on the candidate list, 2,4-dinitrotoluene and lead chromate, to help ECHA to judge whether they should be recommended as substances subject to authorisation. Details can be found in the news alert ECHA/NA/10/23 issued by the ECHA, which can be accessed through the following link:

  1. All interested parties are invited to fill in the questionnaires available at
