European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Barium Carbonate Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 273/2005 of 23 July 2005, the European Commission (the Commission) has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of barium carbonate originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS

  1. Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of barium carbonate originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 22 July 2005 at a rate of EUR 56.4 per tonne (except for two companies whose individual duty rates are EUR 6.3 per tonne and EUR 8.1 per tonne). 
     

  2. Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire on 22 July 2010.
