South Africa : Imposition of Definitive Anti-Dumping Duty on Imports of Stainless Steel Hollowware Originating in the Mainland of China
(or Originating in Mainland China and Exported from Hong Kong)
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 93/98 of 30 June 1998, the Department has received information that the Board on Tariffs and Trade (BTT) of South Africa has announced in its Government Gazette imposition of definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of stainless steel hollowware originating in the mainland of China (or originating in mainland China and exported from Hong Kong). A copy of the Government Gazette is appended (pdf format) to this circular for reference. Details are set out below.
DETAILS
2. | (a) | Product Coverage : | Saucepans, steamers, stewpans, casseroles or frying pans, or sets containing such items, of stainless steel, not plated with precious metal, classifiable under tariff subheading 7323 9320; and those products plated with precious metal, classifiable under tariff subheading 7323 9390; |
(b) | Rate of Duty: |
(i) For products originating in mainland China :
(ii) For products originating in mainland China and exported from Hong Kong :
