European Union (EU) : Imposition of Definitive Anti-Dumping
Duty on Imports of Coumarin Originating in the
People's Republic of China (PRC)
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 17/96 of 16 February 1996 concerning the extension of the provisional anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of coumarin originating in the People's Republic of China, the European Union has published a regulation (the Regulation) in the Official Journal of the European Communities to impose definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating in the PRC. A copy of the Regulation is appended to this circular for reference. Details are as follows :
- Product:
Coumarin falling within CN Code ex 2932 2100 originating in the PRC;- Rate of Duty:
58.6% of the net, free-at-Community-frontier price, before duty;- Effective Date:
4 April 1996; and- Collection of Duty:
The amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty shall be definitively collected in full.
