India : Final Findings on the Anti-Dumping Investigation Concerning Imports of Flat Rolled Products of Stainless Steel originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, European Union, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, USA, Thailand, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam and Malaysia
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 551/2019 of 22 July 2019, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India (hereafter referred to as the Indian Authority) published a Notification dated 23 December 2020 to announce the final findings of the anti-dumping investigation against imports of flat rolled products of stainless steel originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, European Union, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, USA, Thailand, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam and Malaysia. DETAILS
2.The Indian Authority recommended terminating the subject anti-dumping investigation in respect of Hong Kong. Salient points of the final findings are set out below -
(a) Date of Notification | : | 23 December 2020 |
(b) Product Coverage | : | Flat Rolled Products of Stainless Steel The subject goods are classified in Chapter 72 under customs subheading no. 7219 and 7220 of the Indian's Customs Tariff Act 1975. All forms and specifications of the product under consideration falling under 7219 and 7220, unless specifically excluded, are within the scope of the investigation. |
(c) Conclusions and Recommendations | : |

(d) Appeal | : | The Indian's Customs Tariff Act 1975 provides appeal to be filed to the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal within 90 days of the date of the Notification on 23 December 2020 (i.e. by 22 March 2021). |
