New Zealand : Consultation on Import Health Standard for importing Actinidia plants for planting

New Zealand is conducting a consultation on the proposed Import Health Standard for Actinidia plants for planting. The Standard concerned sets out the proposed import requirements for Actinidia (including kiwifruit and kiwiberry) plants imported into New Zealand for further propagation. The consultation documents are available at the official website of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) of New Zealand -

2.Should you have any feedback, please submit to the New Zealand authorities by post to MPI of New Zealand or email to plantimports@mpi.govt.nz by 5 pm on 4 May 2018 (New Zealand Time). For submission guidelines, please refer to the webpage set out in Paragraph 1 above.
