Commercial Information Circular No. 139/2018

The Mainland of China : Certain Policies and Measures in the Guangdong Province Promoting Restructure and Upgrade of Individually Owned Stores and Optimising the Economic Structure

Eleven governmental organisations including the Administration for Industry and Commerce of the Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China jointly issued on 28 December 2017 a notice concerning certain policies and measures promoting restructure and upgrade of individually owned stores and optimising the economic structure in the Guangdong Province, which took effect on 1 January 2018 and is effective until 31 December 2020.  Amongst others, to promote the restructure and upgrade of individually owned stores to enterprises, taxes/fees can be lowered and there will be financial support and rewards/subsidies upon fulfilment of certain criteria.  Please refer to the Appendix (pdf format) for the notice (available in Chinese only).
