Commercial Information Circular No. 716/2016

The Mainland of China : "Plan on the Comprehensive Pilot on Development of a New System of Open Economy" and Key Points of the Implementation Plans of 12 Pilot Cities/Areas

The Mainland has decided to launch a comprehensive pilot on development of a new system of open economy in 12 cities/areas (i.e. Jinan of Shandong, Nanchang of Jiangxi, Tangshan of Hebei, Zhangzhou of Fujian, Dongguan of Guangdong, Fangchenggang of Guangxi, Pudong New Area of Shanghai, Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing, Xixian New Area of Shaanxi, Jinpu New Area of Dalian, city circle of Wuhan and Suzhou Industrial Park). The Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued on 14 May 2016 the "Plan on the Comprehensive Pilot on Development of a New System of Open Economy".
