The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China issued on 15 August 2016 a notice concerning issues on the cancellation of designated inspection institutions for pre-shipment inspection of solid waste imports usable as raw materials, which took effect on the date of promulgation.
