The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on Levy of Vehicle and Vessel Tax for Vessels on behalf of Taxation Authorities

The State Administration of Taxation and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the administrative measures on levy of vehicle and vessel tax for vessels on behalf of taxation authorities, which will take effect on 1 February 2013. For details, please refer to a copy of the notice (available in Chinese only) at Appendix (pdf format).

2.For details of the "Law on Administration of Tax Collection of the People's Republic of China" and its Implementation Rules, please refer to CIC No. 985/2012 dated 28 November 2012. For details of the "Law on Vehicle and Vessel Tax of the People's Republic of China" and its Implementation Regulations, please refer to CIC No. 157/2011 dated 9 March 2011 and CIC No. 783/2011 dated 9 December 2011.
