The Mainland of China : Implementation of WTO's Ruling on the Imports of Grain Oriented Flat-rolled Electrical Steel from the United States

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) re-investigated the anti-dumping and countervailing measures against imports of grain oriented flat-rolled electrical steel from the United States to implement the ruling and recommendation of the Dispute Settlement Body of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and issued Notice No. 51/2013 on 31 July 2013 to announce the ruling on the re-investigation. The relevant tariff codes are 7225 1100 and 7226 1100.

DETAILS

2.According to the ruling, the rate of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of grain oriented flat-rolled electrical steel from the United States would be adjusted to 7.8% - 19.9% and 3.4% respectively with effect from 1 August 2013.
