The Mainland of China : Ruling on the New Exporter Review of Nissan North America, Inc.

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 42/2013 on 17 July 2013, announcing the ruling on the new exporter review of Nissan North America, Inc. The scope of investigated product is imports of saloon cars and cross-country cars (of a cylinder capacity > 2500cc) from the United States, relevant tariff codes of which are 8703 2361, 8703 2362, 8703 2369, 8703 2411, 8703 2412, 8703 2419, 8703 2421, 8703 2422, 8703 2429, 8703 3311, 8703 3312, 8703 3319, 8703 3321, 8703 3322, 8703 3329, 8703 3361, 8703 3362, 8703 3369 and 8703 9000.

DETAILS

2.According to the ruling, Nissan North America, Inc. is an eligible new exporter; dumping existed regarding the imports of the investigated product from the company with a dumping margin of 3.6%; subsidy was de minimis regarding the imports of investigated product by the company, and countervailing duties would not be levied. With effect from 18 July 2013, the anti-dumping duty rate on the imports of the investigated product from Nissan North America, Inc. would be adjusted to 3.6% and the countervailing duty rate would be adjusted to 0.
