The Mainland of China : Review of Anti-dumping Measure against Imports of Methyl Ethyl Ketone from Japan and the Taiwan Province

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 69/2012 on 21 November 2012, announcing the initiation of review of anti-dumping measures against imports of methyl ethyl ketone from Japan and the Taiwan Province. Since there no application for and MOC has considered not to initiate a review, anti-dumping duties on imports of methyl ethyl ketone from Singapore would terminate with effect from 22 November 2012,. The relevant tariff code is 2914 1200.

DETAILS

2.For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 21 November 2012). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland and other markets during 1 July 2011 - 30 June 2012. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans during 1 January 2007 - 30 June 2012. 3.During the review period, anti-dumping duties on imports of methyl ethyl ketone from Japan and the Taiwan Province continue to apply.
