Commercial Information Circular No. 943/2012

The Mainland of China : Preliminary Finding of Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Toluene Diisocyanate from the European Union

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 79/2012 on 13 November 2012, announcing the preliminary finding of the anti-dumping investigation against imports of toluene diisocyanate from the European Union. The relevant tariff code is 2929 1010.

DETAIL

2.The preliminary finding reveals that dumping existed regarding toluene diisocyanate originated in the European Union, with dumping margin ranged from 6.6% to 37.7%. It is found that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry and that causal link existed. With effect from 13 November 2012, importers have to provide deposit according to the margin of dumping as guarantee to the General Administration of Customs for importation of toluene diisocyanate.

3.Interested parties may submit written representation and supporting evidence to the MOC within 20 days from the date of announcement (i.e. 13 November 2012) for their consideration.
