Dear Sirs,

Commercial Information Circular No. 942/2012

The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Certain High-performance Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes from the European Union and Japan

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 72/2012 on 8 November 2012, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes from the European Union and Japan. The relevant tariff codes are 7304 4110 and 7304 4910.

DETAILS

2.The final ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding imports of certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes from the European Union and Japan, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 9.2% to 14.4% on imports of certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes from the European Union and Japan. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 9 November 2012. For details, please make reference to the notice issued by the MOC at: http://www.mofcom.gov.cn/aarticle/b/c/201211/20121108424275.html(Chinese version only).
