The Mainland of China : Notice on Implementing the Task of Environmental Pollution Liability Insurance of Shenzhen

The Human Settlements and Environment Commission of Shenzhen Municipality (SZHEC) has recently issued a Notice on Implementing the Task of Environmental Pollution Liability Insurance. Enterprises listed in the "Catalogue of Enterprises Subject to Compulsory Environmental Pollution Liability Insurance of Shenzhen" (the Catalogue) are required to participate in environmental pollution liability insurance between 1 September 2012 and end 2012 in accordance with the "Implementation Plan on the Task of Environmental Pollution Liability Insurance of Shenzhen" (the Plan). A copy of the notice is attached at Appendix (pdf format), and the Catalogue can be downloaded from SZHEC's website at :
