The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Cancellation of Implementation of Compulsory Product Certification Management for Certain Products

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the Certification and Accreditation Administration jointly issued a notice on 13 August 2012 concerning the cancellation of implementation of compulsory product certification management for certain products, which took effect on the date of pulmulgation. For details, please refer to a copy of the notice (available in Chinese only) at Appendix (pdf format).

2. For details of the "Regulations on Certification and Accreditation of the People's Republic of China", please refer to CIC No. 232/2003 dated 15 September 2003. For details of the "Regulations for Compulsory Product Certification", please refer to CIC No. 368/2009 dated 17 July 2009.
