Commercial Information Circular No. 615/2012

The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Cancellation of Inspection and Quarantine Control for Import and Export of Certain Commodities

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and the General Administration of Customs jointly issued a notice concerning the cancellation of inspection and quarantine control for import and export of certain commodities, which took effect on 1 August 2012. For details, please refer to a copy of the notice (available in Chinese only) at Appendix (pdf format).

2.For details of the "Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Quality and Quarantine Inspection (2012)", please refer to CIC No. 29/2012 dated 10 January 2012. For details of the "Law on Import and Export Commodity Inspection" and its implementation regulations, please refer to CIC No. 133/02 dated 18 July 2002 and CIC No. 375/2005 dated 16 September 2005.
