The Mainland of China : Preliminary Finding of Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Certain High-performance Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes from the European Union and Japan

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 21/2012 on 8 May 2012, announcing the preliminary finding of the anti-dumping investigation against imports of certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes from the European Union and Japan. The relevant tariff codes are 7304 4110, 7304 4910, 7304 5110 and 7304 5910.

DETAILS


2.The preliminary finding reveals that dumping existed regarding certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes originated in the European Union and Japan, with dumping margin ranged from 9.7% to 39.2%. It is found that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry and that causal link existed. With effect from 8 May 2012, importers have to provide deposit according to the margin of dumping as guarantee to the General Administration of Customs for importation of certain high-performance stainless steel seamless tubes under the tariff codes 7304 4110 and 7304 4910.

3. Interested parties may submit written representation and supporting evidence to the MOC within 20 days from the date of announcement (i.e. 8 May 2012) for their consideration. For details, please make reference to MOC's notice at:
