Commercial Information Circular No.99/2010

The Mainland of China : Regulation of Risk Monitoring and Management on Food Safety (Interim)

The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and the State Food and Drug Administration jointly issued the "Regulation of Risk Monitoring and Management on Food Safety (Interim)". A copy of the notice (available in Chinese only), which took effect on 25 January 2010, is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.

  2. For details of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Food Safety" and its implementation regulations, please refer to CIC No. 111/2009 dated 3 March 2009 and CIC No. 380/2009 dated 27 July 2009.
