The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Implementation Guidelines on Random Checks related to Product Quality Supervision (First Batch)

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued on 13 July 2010 the "Notice Concerning Implementation Guidelines on Random Checks related to Product Quality Supervision (First Batch)" (the Implementation Guidelines), which will take effect from 1 August 2010. The Implementation Guidelines has 143 chapters covering four product categories: food, daily consumables, construction and furnishing materials and products related to agricultural production. A copy of the Implementation Guidelines (available in Chinese only) is attached at Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
