The Mainland of China : Guidance Opinions on Enhancing the Care for Workers and Improving Work Environment

The People's Government of Guangdong Province has recently issued the "Guidance Opinions on Enhancing the Care for Workers and Improving Work Environment", which suggests protecting the legitimate rights of workers, strengthening and improving enterprises' labour management (such as implementing collective wages negotiation mechanism and promoting workers' participation in democratic management in enterprises), and improving the production and living conditions of workers, etc. A copy of the Opinions is attached at annex (pdf format) for reference.
