The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Certain Iron or Steel Fasteners from the European Union

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 40/2010 on 28 June 2010, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of certain iron or steel fasteners from the European Union. The relevant tariff codes are 7318 1200, 7318 1400, 7318 1500, 73182100 and 7318 2200.

DETAILS

  1. The final ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding imports of certain iron or steel fasteners from the European Union and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 6.1% to 26.0% on imports of certain iron or steel fasteners from the European Union. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 29 June 2010.
