The Mainland of China : Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Dispersion Unshifted Single-Mode Optical Fiber from the United States and the European Union

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 23/2010 on 22 April 2010 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of dispersion unshifted single-mode optical fiber from the United States and the European Union. The relevant tariff code is 9001 1000.

For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 22 April 2010). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during 1 January 2009-31 December 2009. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans, as well as quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during 1 January 2006-31 December 2009.
