Dear Sirs,

Commercial Information Circular No. 172/2010

The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Polycaprolactam from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan Province

The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 15/2010 on 20 April 2010, announcing the final ruling on anti-dumping investigation against imports of polycaprolactam from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan Province. The relevant tariff code is 3908 1019.

DETAILS

  1. The final ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding imports of polycaprolactam from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan Province and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 4.0% to 96.5% on imports of polycaprolactam from the United States, the European Union, Russia and the Taiwan Province. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 22 April 2010. For details, please make reference to the notice issued by the MOC at: http://www.mofcom.gov.cn/aarticle/b/c/201004/20100406879278.html (Chinese version only).
