The Mainland of China : Preliminary Finding of Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Certain Iron or Steel Fasteners from the European Union
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 115/2009 on 23 December 2009, announcing the preliminary finding of the anti-dumping investigation against imports of certain iron or steel fasteners from the European Union. The relevant tariff codes are 7318 1200, 7318 1400, 7318 1500, 7318 2100 and 7318 2200.

The preliminary finding reveals that dumping existed regarding the investigated products originated in the European Union with dumping margin ranged from 16.8% to 24.6%. It is found that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry and that causal link existed. With effect from 28 December 2009, importers have to provide deposit according to the margin of dumping as guarantee to the General Administration of Customs for importation of the products concerned.
