The General Administration of Customs has recently promulgated the"Interim Administrative Measures on Tax Collection Preservation and Mandatory Control by the Customs of the People's Republic of China" (the Measures). A copy of the Measures, which will take effect on 1 September 2009, is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
