The Mainland of China : Anti-dumping Investigation against Imports of Methanol from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand
The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) issued Notice No. 35/2009 on 24 June 2009 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation against imports of methanol from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and New Zealand. The relevant tariff code is 2905 1100.
DETAILS
- For anti-dumping investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports to participate in the defence of anti-dumping within 20 days from the date of the announcement (i.e. 24 June 2009). In the application, interested parties should submit information about the quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during 1 April 2008 - 31 March 2009. For industry injury investigation, interested parties may approach the Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation to participate in the investigation within 20 days from the date of the announcement. In the application, interested parties should submit information about their manufacturing capacity, production volume, inventory level and details of any expansion plans, as well as quantity and value of the investigated products exported to the Mainland during 1 January 2006 - 31 March 2009.
