India : Final Findings on Anti-Dumping Investigation concerning Cable Ties
originating in or exported from the Mainland of China

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India has announced definitive anti-dumping duty on import of cable ties originating in or exported from the Mainland of China and the Taiwan Province. The notification dated 31 March 2009 can be accessed at

2. The subject product is "Cable Ties" falling under India's tariff heading 39.2690/3926.9010. For the subject products originating in or exported from the Mainland of China, the rate of the duty is equivalent to the difference between USD6.05 per kg and the landed value of the imported good per kg. According to the notification, the definitive anti-dumping duty should take effect from the date of imposition of the provisional anti-dumping duty, i.e. 31 October 2008.

The Bureau is responsible for, among others, conducting anti-dumping investigations, and guiding and coordinating enterprises in the Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the Guangdong Province.
