The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning Increasing the Export Tax Rebate Rate for Certain Products of Textile and Clothing, Light Industries, Electronic Information and Other Commodities
The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued a notice on 27 March 2009 announcing that, with effect from 1 April 2009, the export tax rebate rates for certain commodities of textile and clothing, light industries, electronic information, steel, non-ferrous metal, petrochemical and other commodities will be increased. The major adjustments include:
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for CRT colour televisions, etc. to 17%;
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for textile and clothing products to 16%;
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for certain metal furniture, etc. to 13%;
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for rear-view mirrors for vehicles, etc. to 11%;
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for locks, etc. to 9%; and
- increasing the export tax rebate rates for commercial calcium hypochlorite and other calcium hypochlorites, etc. to 5%.
