The Mainland of China : Administrative Measures on the Supervision of the
Manufacturing and Maintenance of Calibration Equipment
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has promulgated the "Administrative Measures on the Supervision of the Manufacturing and Maintenance of Calibration Equipment" to govern the manufacturing and maintenance activities of calibration equipment, to strengthen the management of such activities, and to ensure the measurement accuracy of the calibration equipment. The Measures will take effect from 1 May 2008, full text of which is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference. The same measures originally promulgated in 1999 will be superseded at the same time.
