The Mainland of China : Interim Measures on Investigating and Preventing Accidents and Hidden Hazards to Promote Production Safety
The State Administration of Work Safety has promulgated an "Interim Measures on Investigating and Preventing Accidents and Hidden Hazards to Promote Production Safety", which will take effect from 1 February 2008. The interim measures aim to strengthen the responsibility of production entities to take advance actions to investigate into areas of potential hazards, to get remedies and to prevent occurrence of accidents. The measures also tighten up the supervision and inspection work of relevant authorities in charge of production safety. Full text of the interim measures is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
